I had the best hotel bacon in my life today at Manny’s Steak House at the W hotel in Minneapolis. It was thick cut, apple smoked, absolutely the most delicious bacon I’ve ever had in my life. When I say thick cut, I’m talking about 1/4 of an inch thick cut bacon babeeee! YEAH!

So…after being on location for 8 weeks (no cooking there), and Christmas, New Years, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, the winter solstice…I am back. I’ve been cooking a lot lately so I have a lot of updating to do. I’m currently involved with an obsessive affair with dim sum…but, more about that later.
